I have had years of experience in the Art Industry...
You may have even heard of my former businesses
Gayles of Laughter,
which specialized in Christmas Ornaments and Whimsical Jewelry
or
Driven Women,
my retail store formally located in Bar Harbor Maine
Now my passion is to create personal
custom made pieces just for you.
My ceramic dish ware is hand made using casting,
slumping and throwing techniques, I then apply the
desired design using your photographs as inspiration
with underglaze colors, the underglaze colors can be
custom mixed to suit your tastes. After that the piece is
bisque fired. The last step of the process is to apply a
clear, dinnerware safe glaze and kiln fire a second time to
a high temperatures insuring that the piece is
dishwasher, and microwave safe.
